Preamble
Hello and welcome to the exhibition fixture between the English side and the Chinese squad at Wembley Stadium. The match is set to be a thriller with the European Championship holders taking on the reigning Asia Cup winners.
England’s national stadium is sold-out for the match, which will see Fran Kirby honored pre-match after her departure from the England squad before the European Championship this past summer.
Lineup details will be announced shortly, but there was a late squad update for England. On Friday, Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a small issue, and so former number one Ellie Roebuck has been summoned.
With Hannah Hampton unavailable, it will be interesting to see who head coach Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. Those details along with further updates are coming up before kick-off at 5:30 in the evening GMT.
