Six Individuals Detained After €12M Robbery on Gold Refining Lab in the French Republic

A team of six suspects using assault rifles and handguns employed explosives to force entry into a precious metals processing plant located in Lyon, causing light wounds to five workers during described as the latest high-profile daylight theft to hit the nation.

The daring raid took place on the afternoon of Thursday, with police forces quickly arresting the suspected perpetrators and securing the stolen items assessed at around €12 million (£10.5M), as stated by authorities.

Five workers of Laboratoires Pourquery were slightly hurt due to the explosion, and three individuals were transported to hospital for evaluation, officials confirmed. Twenty-eight employees were at the location when the thieves struck.
