Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
